A place to talk about the cards you collect
We’ve started Card Rippers on Reddit: a collecting community run by the RipCompass team. It is a new space for Pokémon, sports-card and other trading-card collectors to share their own cards, ask practical questions and discuss the collecting experience. You do not need to buy or open a pack to join in.
Our opening question is simple: What is one card you would keep forever? It might remind you of a player, a friend, a favorite character or the day you found it. A good collecting story does not need a price tag. Add yours to the welcome thread linked below.
What belongs in Card Rippers?
Bring your own collection photos, questions about storing or photographing cards, and stories about what you learned while collecting. If you have received cards from a seller or ripping platform, useful details include the packaging, the condition on arrival and how the delivery compared with what you were told.
Keep those accounts specific to your experience. Say when something happened and distinguish what you observed from what you suspect. A single good or bad transaction is a personal account, not a complete verdict on a business. We welcome questions from people building their first collection as well as those who have collected for years.
Our ground rules
Be civil, use your own photos and tell the truth about your experiences. Disclose any connection to a brand, platform, seller or affiliate program you mention. RipCompass runs and moderates this community; it is not an independent endorsement of our website or a place to manufacture reviews.
There is no referral spam, unsolicited sales messaging, sales activity, raffles or paid chance games. Do not promise profits or pressure someone to buy a pack. Please read the pinned ground-rules post before contributing.
Before sharing a screenshot or delivery photo, hide names, addresses, email addresses, order numbers and tracking codes. Never publish passwords, payment details or private messages containing someone else’s personal information. Describe a support problem calmly and keep evidence relevant to the issue.

Card Rippers is just getting started. We are inviting real contributions, not claiming an established discussion history or a crowd of satisfied users. The welcome thread and ground rules are linked below so you can see the purpose of the community before taking part.
Tell us what you collect and name your forever card. If you share a photo, make it your own and explain what the card means to you. Reading along is welcome too; joining a discussion should never depend on making a purchase.
