What changed on September 17
Beezie announced that it removed the additional 6% deduction previously applied to SWAP offers. The displayed percentage now determines the amount credited to the Beezie balance: its example of a $1,000 fair-market-value item at 92% produces $920.
The update also lets Beezie configure Average Value and SWAP percentages independently for each Claw. Those settings can change. Its announcement says that remaining inventory changes as items are pulled, which can move the average value too.

The change is to the credited quote
There are two separate operations: assigning a value to the collectible and applying the SWAP percentage to it. Removing the extra deduction simplifies the second operation; it does not independently verify the first.
Use the amount in the acceptance screen as your comparison point. Do not subtract a second 6% from a new quote. For an older receipt, use its actual credited amount: the announcement does not establish refunds or retrospective changes.
Opening cost still determines the result
At an illustrative $100 opening cost and 90% SWAP rate, an $80 item valuation leaves $72 in balance, while a $150 valuation leaves $135. Removing one deduction cannot make those outcomes equivalent.
The table separates the purchase from the offer. Its values are examples chosen for the calculation, not a current Beezie Claw or a prediction of your pull.
| Opening cost | Item valuation | Example offer | Credited amount |
|---|---|---|---|
| $100 | $80 | 90% | $72 |
| $100 | $100 | 90% | $90 |
| $100 | $150 | 90% | $135 |
Average Value and SWAP answer different questions
To compare two hypothetical $100 Claws, suppose one advertises $110 average item value with an 80% SWAP rate, and another $100 with a 90% rate. Multiplication gives $88 and $90 respectively. A larger average-item-value headline can therefore coexist with a smaller calculated balance return.
This comparison only works if the displayed average accurately describes the relevant pool and the same SWAP rate applies across its items. Per-item offers, changing inventory or different valuation bases require the actual underlying data.
What to save from the new offer
Record the Claw, opening cost, item identifier, displayed valuation, SWAP rate and final balance credit together. If withdrawing or redeeming, keep those later charges separately so you can reconcile the complete transaction.
The announcement addresses SWAP credits. Check withdrawal and physical-redemption conditions independently in the full review and the live account.
Frequently asked questions
Does this mean Beezie has no fees?
No. The announcement removes one additional SWAP deduction. Check the separate conditions for withdrawals, payments and shipping.
Is a buyback percentage a percentage of my pack price?
Check the offer basis. A percentage applied to an item valuation is different from a percentage of the price you paid to open the pack.
Does a higher SWAP offer guarantee profit?
No. You must compare the actual proceeds with the opening cost and any other charges. The item you receive may be valued below what you paid.
