More than an opening screen
Arena Club presents Slab Packs alongside a marketplace, grading services and personal showrooms. Its product overview advertises instant offers on Slab Packs, but we have not established a rate that applies to every pack.
Our editorial reason to include it is the broader collecting workflow. If you want to trade, organize or grade cards as well as open packs, compare those functions separately instead of treating a single buyback percentage as the whole product.
Grading deserves a like-for-like comparison
The How It Works page describes grading using computer vision and human graders, and vaulting for both raw submissions and previously graded slabs. These are different entry routes into the service.
A grade number from one grading company should not automatically be priced as the same number from another. Compare actual sales of the same card in the same slab type and grade. A marketplace asking price remains an asking price until a buyer accepts it.
Getting the card out of the vault
The published guide quotes a $1 retrieval fee per card plus shipping and says retrieval can take up to one week. We report those as published terms, not a delivery result from our own order.
For a small-value card, even a modest retrieval charge can materially change the delivered cost. If you plan to ship several cards, get the actual combined quote. Establish destination eligibility before buying a pack just for physical redemption.
Our assessment
