Our verdict
Consider COMC when cataloging singles, listing inventory or combining purchases into a shipment matters more than a dedicated vault experience. Check processing time and net cash proceeds before sending a large batch.
Pros
- Handles supported raw and graded singles.
- Stored inventory and purchases can support shipment consolidation.
- Detailed processing, storage and selling fee documentation.
Cons
- Economical intake can have a long processing window.
- Processing, storage, selling and cash-out charges can accumulate.
- A blanket custody-insurance policy was not verified for this review.

RipCompass score: 7.5/10
Our editorial score weighs four criteria equally: custody information, fee transparency, the withdrawal process and intake usefulness. Each criterion is scored out of 10 from the official information linked in this review.
Is COMC legit?
COMC is a documented consignment and storage marketplace with published processing, selling and shipment rules. Its warehouse model is relevant to collectors, but the research did not establish a blanket custody-insurance policy equivalent to the claims made by specialist vault providers.

Approx. delivery time: withdrawal to your door
Live destination and service quote; intake processing can range from 2 to 16 weeks
A physical withdrawal has two stages: retrieval and packing, then carrier transit. Holding a card in an online inventory does not start a shipment. Submit a shipping request and use its destination-specific quote to plan the arrival date.
Vault location and US / European access
Vault location: Algona, Washington, United States
External intake: Supported authentic raw and graded singles; paid processing tiers
International quote required; a US warehouse/marketplace alternative
A marketplace warehouse rather than a slab-only vault
COMC accepts supported authentic raw and graded singles, making it relevant to a collector whose inventory is not predominantly expensive slabs. The service processes and catalogs inventory within a consignment workflow. That is a different starting point from a vault chiefly designed to hold authenticated high-value items.
Check category and identification requirements before submitting unusual or foreign-language cards. Processing starts within COMC’s intake and assignment workflow, not necessarily at the instant a courier marks a parcel delivered. Keeping a submission record helps distinguish parcel arrival from inventory becoming usable.

Choose a processing tier before packing
The standard schedule offers a cheaper, slower route and more expensive faster tiers. The published windows range from sixteen weeks to two weeks; these are intake processing windows, not estimates for shipping a card back to you. A collection needed for a near-term sale should be assessed against the appropriate tier.
Minimum batch charges can change the effective per-card price for a small submission. Standard and Select listing-value limits also matter for higher-value cards, where an upgrade may be required. Promotional terms should be checked separately rather than blended into a permanent rate claim.

Understand storage and cash proceeds separately
Storage depends on whether cards are listed for sale and at what price. Purchases that are not relisted and consigned items held off-sale have exemptions, while qualifying listed inventory can accrue monthly storage charges. Higher-priced listed inventory has an additional enhanced-security calculation. The same card can therefore incur different charges depending on whether it is held privately or listed for sale.
A sale is not yet a cash withdrawal. Using the published fixed-price and cash-out percentages, a $100 sale leaves $95 in credit, then $85.50 if that credit is cashed out, before processing or storage costs. Collectors reinvesting account credit and collectors wanting banked proceeds are therefore evaluating different net outcomes.

Shipping home and comparing protection
Shipment pricing depends on service and card count, with the live destination tool controlling the applicable options. Published US Standard pricing starts at $5.99 plus an additional-card charge; other services use different structures. Existing shipping balances and other fees can also affect the final request.
For Europe, get a destination-specific quote and keep processing, transit and customs separate. COMC’s operations were consolidated in Algona, Washington, so use current mailing instructions rather than an old Redmond address. The reviewed sources did not establish blanket custody-insurance coverage; ask about protection for your collection instead of treating it as identical to an insured specialist vault.

Live destination and service quote; intake processing can range from 2 to 16 weeks
Is COMC suitable for raw cards?
Yes, supported authentic raw singles are part of the service. Check the category and submission requirements before sending a batch.
Does sixteen weeks mean delivery takes sixteen weeks?
No. That is the published Standard intake processing window, not a withdrawal or carrier transit estimate.
Are all stored cards charged monthly?
