Review scope and product model
PackLab is worth adding to a comparison because its product works differently from a platform selling individual slabs already in custody. Its terms describe virtual cards that become physical-card redemption requests. The named operator is PackLab LLC. Physical delivery is restricted to US and Canadian addresses, even though account access is broader. A European collector should establish a usable delivery route before buying.
The key distinction: a reveal is not a warehouse receipt
PackLab explains that it sources cards after a shipping request, through local supply or online vendors, then sends them to the customer. Its current process page allows 1–30 days before shipment and another 2–7 days in transit. Tracking describes the final delivery leg. We have not independently inspected inventory or tested fulfillment.
For a collector, this changes the question from “where is my exact slab stored?” to “what physical condition and version will be supplied?” A digital vault image alone does not resolve that question. Compare this model with Courtyard’s custody and redemption process and the distinction between buying a known graded single and a mystery pack.
Selling back does not mean withdrawing money
The process page advertises a base 85% conversion into Sparks, rising with VIP status to 88%. These are platform credits, not a bank payment.
Illustration: a card displayed at $60 converted at 85% produces $51-equivalent credit. If the pack cost $100, that is $49 less than the purchase price, and none of it becomes withdrawable cash. This calculation is illustrative, not a reported pull.
Purchased and promotional Sparks are restricted to packs; credits generated by selling cards back have broader uses, including singles and redemption fees. The terms also describe a cap affecting unusually large price spikes and identity verification before physical redemption. Review these restrictions before treating a displayed portfolio value as spendable purchasing power.
What shipping adds
Published terms list 499 Sparks per card, a further 500 for Canadian delivery, and a 5% insurance/handling charge on cards valued at $100 or more.
At the stated conversion of 100 Sparks per dollar, a $200 card would therefore add $14.99 for US delivery, or $19.99 for Canada, before any other applicable costs. That is arithmetic using the published tariff, not a checkout quote. Per-card fees can change the economics of keeping several low-value pulls.
Condition and unavailable cards
The FAQ says PackLab seeks good-quality raw cards but may supply a disclosed played condition for older, difficult-to-source cards. If sourcing fails, its stated remedy is the live value in Sparks and the fee returned. That is especially relevant for someone seeking a grading candidate: Near Mint is not a promise of a future grade. Support is available through account messages or support@packlab.gg; the FAQ’s usual 24-hour response is an operator estimate, not a measured service result.
What the fairness disclosure establishes
PackLab describes committing a box’s card list and secret seed before sales, combining that commitment with future drand randomness, then releasing verification data when the box finishes. It labels some special-pack odds as community estimates. This is useful documentation to examine, but we have not independently replayed a completed box or audited the implementation.
A verifiable shuffle would address whether outcomes follow the committed process. It would not by itself establish card condition, accurate valuations, successful sourcing or profitable openings. Save the particular pack’s probabilities and price: a brand-level fairness claim is not a complete pack comparison.
Our assessment
The documented attraction is a broad virtual collecting interface with an explained verification model. The trade-offs are closed-loop proceeds, sourcing after redemption and delivery restricted to North America. We would not shortlist it for cash withdrawals or immediate access to a specific vaulted slab. Before buying, confirm the card version, condition, redemption total and current product odds. No specific highest-value pull, live availability, delivery success rate or independent audit is established by this review.
Frequently asked questions

PackLab LLC is named in the official terms. Published commitment and randomness documentation. These are documentation signals, not an independent verification of custody, delivery or payouts. Cards are sourced after redemption; Sparks cannot be cashed out.
I ordered from PackLab—how long will delivery take?
1–30 days before shipment, then 2–7 days transit. Processing or retrieval happens before carrier transit; a dispatch estimate is not an arrival guarantee. First confirm that you submitted a physical shipping or redemption request: opening a pack does not necessarily start a shipment. US and Canada only The Orders page provides status updates; any tracking covers the final shipment to you. Contact official support with your redemption and order details. Distinguish sourcing/processing from carrier transit.
Can I withdraw PackLab Sparks?
No. Sparks are closed-loop credit, not cash.
Does PackLab ship to Europe?
Its published physical fulfillment is US and Canada only. Wider account access does not establish a European delivery service.
Are PackLab cards already in a physical vault?
The public explanation says cards are sourced after a shipping request. A virtual vault entry is not evidence of an individually held slab.
